Data Deletion Request

Use this page to request deletion of personal data that Bedaki processes about you, whether you are a customer of Bedaki, an agent in a customer's account, or an end user who interacted with a Bedaki-powered chatbot via WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, or a website widget.

Who can request deletion

  • Customer admins: log in and use "Delete account" from Account Settings, or email privacy@bedaki.com. The deletion cascades to all bots, agents, conversation logs, and knowledge-base content under your account.
  • Agents inside a customer account: ask your account admin to remove you, or email privacy@bedaki.com, we will verify your identity and revoke your access.
  • End users (people who chatted with a Bedaki-powered bot): you do not need to go through the customer running the bot. Submit the form below or email privacy@bedaki.com directly.

How to submit a request

  1. Email privacy@bedaki.com with subject line "Data Deletion Request".
  2. Include at least one identifier so we can find your data: phone number (for WhatsApp), Facebook/Instagram username or Scoped ID, chat session ID (shown in the widget footer), or the URL where you used the chatbot.
  3. Optionally tell us which customer's bot you used, this is not required but speeds up the search.
  4. We acknowledge your request within 7 days. We complete erasure within 30 days from receipt, in line with Article 8 of Law 09-08 and §3.b of the Meta Platform Terms.

What gets deleted

  • Conversation transcripts and message bodies tied to your identifier
  • Phone numbers, platform-scoped IDs, display names, and any profile details we held
  • Session identifiers and any analytics rows derived from your identifier
  • Backups containing your data are purged within a 30-day rolling window

Legal retention exceptions

We may retain certain records (transaction logs, accounting data, abuse-investigation evidence) where Moroccan law or our contractual obligations require. Retained records are anonymized where possible and access-restricted to the minimum personnel needed.
